Sometime in between the two performances of our murder mystery play on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 November the Burton Memorial Hall was broken into and a black walkie-talkie & headset belonging to BADS was stolen. This is one of a pair used by stage manager and lighting technician to synchronise backstage and lighting stuff, and is no use to anyone on its own. Its loss is, however, a huge headache for us.

Also stolen was a Sony Walkman minidisc recorder/player in a soft carry pouch, and containing a disc of TV and film detective theme tunes. The Walkman was on loan to BADS from one of the cast. It is security marked and traceable back to its owner.

If anyone has seen or been offered these items, or knows where they are, please contact us. We would love to retrieve them. Thank you.

These items have been recovered (except for the radio headset which is still missing) and the persons responsible apprehended.
