BADS 3rd murder mystery supper evening, Act of Murder, was written (like those previously performed by BADS) by Joan Lee, and is set in an amateur dramatic company somewhere in the north of England.

As members of the cast arrive for the dress rehearsal, certain secrets start to emerge, each person has something they could feel is worth committing a murder to protect, but only one of them actually did the deed.

As usual, BADS performed the play as dinner theatre, serving Jan's famous hot pot supper in the main interval, followed by coffee whilst the audience reviews the clues and works out whodunnit.

Act of Murder is the directorial debut of Tony Pennington, whose joined three other members of his family as a member of BADS.

The cast for this production was Katie Bebbington, Roger Bingham, Alison Flanders, Paula Firth, Felicity Holloway, Christine Metcalfe, Barry Morgan, Denise Pennington, Paul Rossi, and Alyson Yates.
