A comedy with a difference! When Maud "wakes up" on the floor with a pain in her head and another in her chest, it's not immediate obvious that she is dead. That her beloved daughter Lisa and her nosey neighbour Anne both ignore her irritates her, until the penny finally drops and Maud realises she is a ghost. The arrival of her elder daughter, Mona (or should that be Moaner?!) with her long-suffering husband, Derek set events in motion, which will include visits from the mysterious Madame Romane - a medium who lives next door, a leather-clad motorbiking vicar called Damian, and a long-suffering undertaker, Mr Grimethorpe, whom Maud describes as "a creepy sod!" Missing underwear, a coffin, a ballgown, and a seance, and the progressively more deranged Mona bring this plot to a climax when everyone can finally see Maud once more.
The cast was: Sarah Boardman, Yvette Humphries, Alyson Yates, Christine Metcalfe, Felicity Holloway, Paul Rossi, Roger Bingham, and Louis Mayne. Producer was Alison Murphy, Stage manager: Anne Nichols, Lights: George Isherwood, Prompt/sounds: Barry Morgan, Make-up: Jill Anderson, Stage crew: Annette Donnegan and Pam Barker.
